Our 13 week program

Community members who have experienced the death of a family member or friend are invited to register for the GriefShare program held at Trinity Baptist Church.

This BRAND NEW Version is a 13 week program which features Christ-centered, biblical teaching that focuses on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one.  The DVD seminar features nationally respected grief experts and real stories of real people.

Many grieving people find they are only beginning the work of healing when friends or family have returned to their daily life routines.  Past participants have related how helpful the information and follow-up discussions were to them.

NEXT GriefShare Session:

Weekly GriefShare sessions are held in the newly renovated TRINITY, TOO building across Birdwell Lane from the Main Campus.   You do not have to start at the beginning as each of the sessions stands alone.  We will be doing 2 Seminars per year so if you miss sessions, you can pick them up the next time they are offered.

Loss of A Spouse  

This ONE NIGHT seminar will give you some basic tools for dealing with grief.  Come and bring a friend.

The seminar features video interviews with counselors, grief experts, and widowed men and women. They offer helpful insights on: 

• What to expect in the days to come
• How to deal with the loneliness
• What to do with your spouse’s belongings
• Why it won’t always hurt this much
• And other practical help for dealing with the challenges of widowhood

Everyone who attends will receive a booklet with over 30 short readings on how to live with grief and eventually rebuild your life.

Surviving the Holidays  

This ONE NIGHT seminar will give you some basic insight and practical ideas for dealing with grief during the holidays.  Come and bring your adult family.

The seminar features video interviews with counselors, grief experts, and widowed men and women. They offer helpful insights on: 

• What to expect during the holiday season
• How to deal with the loneliness
• What to do when you feel trapped
• Keeps things the same OR Start new traditions
