Bro. Chandler was blessed to grow up in a pastor’s home and he came to Trinity Baptist Church originally at the age of 16 when his father was called to be the pastor. He was saved at the age of 12 while attending summer camp in California. Two years later, Chandler was called to full-time ministry at the same camp. Chandler attended West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, California, where the Lord impressed upon him the desire and calling of a pastor. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Church Ministries in 2022 and his Master’s degree in Biblical Studies in 2023.

Christy grew up in a Christian home in Northeastern Oregon. She trusted Christ as her Savior at the age of 14 following her grandfather’s funeral. In her youth, Christy believed the Lord would lead her to serve on the mission field; however, God had other plans for her life. 

Chandler and Christy met in the summer of 2022 and were married in January of 2024. They have one son, Brayden, and will welcome their second child in the summer of 2026. 

The Kirkland family served on the staff of First Baptist Church in Clute, Texas for three years prior to joining the staff of TBC.
